Mugello and motorbike itineraries
Discovering Mugello, a green oasis north of Florence
The Mugello area is located a few kilometers north of Florence. Mugello looks like a wide green valley crossed by a stretch of the Sieve river, one of the major tributaries of the Arno, the main river in Tuscany.
Mugello is bordered to the north by a stretch of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, to the south by Monte Giovi and Monte Senario and by the Monti della Calvana to the west.
The area is characterized by small and charming villages, set in a spectacular natural context, cities of timeless charm such as Scarperia and Dicomano, and by the incomparable contribution to our historical-artistic heritage, being the home of great personalities such as Giotto, the Beato Angelico or Andrea del Castagno of San Godenzo.
For those who love to travel on 2 wheels, the hills of Mugello offer many motorbike tourism itineraries, they will allow you to discover this area of Tuscany made up of unspoilt villages and woods up to the famous circuit that hosts the Moto GP every year.
